How to maintain your ro original

HOW DO I WASH MY RO ORIGINAL?

Always hand wash your wooden utensils. Never, ever put them in the dishwasher. The high temperatures and super long cycles of the dishwasher actually hurt the utensil. Use hot water and a mild dish soap to wash.
Prop them up to dry. This will allow as much airflow around them as possible to help even out the drying and minimize the effects of expansion and contractions that happens when wood gets wet.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY UTENSIL START TO LOOK DRY?

Perodically rub them with ro's wood rub, a beeswax compound or other food safe wood conditioner. Do not use food-based oils like vegetable or olive oil as they can go rancid.

MY UTENSIL FEELS ROUGH, WHAT CAN I DO?

This can be rubbed away with a piece of fine sandpaper or crumpled paper bag. Treat the surface afterwards with your favorite wood rub.
