OUR ORIGINS
Bespoke Folk Wood Products, the home of ro originals is a space where I get to not only create beautiful wood products, but also appreciate the beauty of the gorgeous pieces of wood I transform to functional art. I make all products in small batches from locally sourced hardwoods in my small workshop. I use mixed methods for creating, mixing power tools with hand gouges for carving. I work primarily with maple and my focus is kitchen utensils.
With input from Fran, the chef and owner operator of the Art of Eating Deli & Catering in downtown Amherst, NS, I have created kitchen utensil designs that are not only beautiful but is weighted correctly, balanced and functional.

I am driven by solving problems in everyday life with creative and cost contained methods. We don't have to purchase everything, we can make and fix things ourselves. Examples include a bespoke wall desk, wall mounted kitchen counter and fireplace surround. Check out my facebook page for more.
